Review date: 2008-04-26 Rating: 8 out of 10 Blood Dreams is a continuation of the series of books about a Special Crime Unit made up of people with psychic abilities. They work as a group within the FBI. This is a great series and this book continues the fight against evil with the main character, Dani Justice learning to control her abilities while being hunted by the killer. The plot is tight, a hunter, killer who has killed eleven women in Boston and gotten away with the crimes makes his first mistake by killing the daughter of a US Senator. The killer then moves out of Boston and is followed by the Special Crime Unit and it's civilian counterpart, Haven. Now the hunt is on for the killer and all the while he is hunting Dani and he can do this because he too is Psychic and can get into her mind. The pace of the book is fast and it is a real page turner. But, I could not give this book five stars because I think that the violence is too graphic. This was not true in her other books and I think they were better for that.
