Review date: 2010-03-27 Rating: 2 out of 10 Looking at the cover of this movie, I thought 'yeah, it looks like Paranormal Activity rip off, but it could be ok! Lordy how wrong can I be! This is THE worst film I have ever seen, and I have seen Ghost Lake, I thought films couldn't get any worse! This film is 'inspired' by a true story, this means the film maker once watched Poltergeist. The acting is atrocious, the dubbing is awful, everytime someone talks there is a huge reverb/echo noise added to the voice, that is if you can even hear the talking (at least 30% of the dialog is missing). Woah, this film is BAD!! It has an 18 certificate, and after watching 30 minutes of the film without a chainsaw murder, I was at least hoping for some nudity!! NOOOOO! Just one profanity. I came to the conclusion the '18' on the box was 18 pence budget! AVOID THIS OFFAL! Four Stars may be insane,but....... Review date: 2010-03-15 Rating: 8 out of 10 I have just finished watching this film, and oh good lord in heaven,yeah,it's bad. Normally when I see a really poor film,I can't wait to rip it to shreds and get my frustration out,by writing a review such as this. But for some reason,I feel like being a little bit kind to this dvd. Don't get me wrong,I was almost in physical pain most of the way through,it wasen't until the 'twist' near the end,when my mind started to turn. I would say at this point not to read on if you don't want to know what happens at the end,but seeing the film myself and reading all the other reviews for this,I don't think it should be a problem. The actuall idea itself,(a murdering water demon ghost thing,that inhabits someone's body to commit,well, murder)is I think an ok concept. And,I liked the fact that Kenny turned out to be the big "Baddy" of the movie,and when it comes down to it,he was not a bad actor either,was he?.I don't know, maybe my mind has turned the wrong way. All I know is,I woulden't put it in the bin,but I woulden't buy it either.At least they tried guys. Anyway,I'm off to find my 'TwinFlame' Paranormal rubbish Review date: 2010-03-12 Rating: 2 out of 10 What can I say this DVD should never even be offered for sale it is complete rubbish. scary no way it is so bad that you cannot hear what the actors are saying, There is one scene at the start where they are sat in a room talking and have the music so loud that there voices cant be heard then another scene where they are talking and as they turn there heads there voices go of. There was one point where I thought it was going to suddenly become a 70's porno film. It was bad this is yet another film that found its way towards the bin after only 15 mins. DONT BUY IT How did this ever make it to DVD? Review date: 2010-03-04 Rating: 2 out of 10 When the movie started i could tell that it was low budget but i thought i would give it a chance. Did i live to regret that? Absolutely. It was shockingly bad. The acting was aweful and the quality of filming was even worse. Sometimes someone would be talking but you would only hear part of it because they messed up the recording. It was like a student movie filmed by an ammature that got their mates to be the actors. Avoid this at all costs!!
